Battling Marketing Resistance

Battling Marketing Resistance by Jill CelesteMarketing Resistance is real. Every entrepreneur (including marketing experts!) has marketing resistance. It’s part of the entrepreneurial journey. The good news? You can overcome resistance with some mindset coaching.

Do I get Marketing Resistance? You bet! It’s like my brain is wired for surround-sound Ego talk – blaring its messages of Resistance. “Don’t do this! Don’t do that!”

(I mention this so you know you’re not alone!)

While every entrepreneur experiences Marketing Resistance, it doesn’t mean you have to dwell in it. In other words, you can push through Marketing Resistance.

Let’s explore this a little further in this week’s marketing strategy.

Why You Need To Get Loud in 2020

Why You Need To Get Loud in 2020 by Jill CelesteI’ve declared 2020 as the “Year of Loud Women,” and in this week’s marketing strategy, I will explain why you need to get loud in 2020.

“Loud” may have a negative connotation, and certain loud things can be annoying.

However, I am not talking about annoying loud things. I am talking about making Meaningful Noise– when you share transformative messages constantly, consistently, and doggedly to your ideal clients.

Throughout the year, I’ll share different ways to be loud, but first, let’s tackle the mindset behind my “get loud” marketing philosophy.

So, why do you need to get loud in 2020? Let’s find out.

What’s Your Word For The Year?

What’s Your Word For The Year? by Jill CelesteHave you picked out your word for the year?

The new year is coming quickly, and having a designated word or phrase can be so helpful – like having a North Star on next year’s journey.

Here are some of my past “words for the year”:

2018 – Create (a reminder to create content because I am a teacher at heart)

2019 – Allow (to help me remember to loosen my grip on things)

For 2020, my word for the year is “Loud.”

I chose Loud because I want to remember the following:

  • Societally, women are expected to be quiet. However, it’s time to shed these societal expectations and raise our voices, individually and collectively.
  • In my marketing, it’s time to make Meaningful Noise™ – to turn up the volume on my marketing activities and get my message out there.
  • My ideal clients can’t find me unless I get loud!
  • I can change the world if I get louder.

What Are You Waiting For?

What Are You Waiting For? by Jill CelesteRecently, I was on a mastermind call with my Faith Keepers, and my friend Jen said: “What are you waiting for?”

Jen was referring to a conversation she was having with a client, and after she asked this question, it dawned on us how relevant this question is.

What ARE you waiting for?

Limitless clients, wealth, health, love – it’s out there for the taking.

What’s stopping us from taking it?

Let’s examine this question a little further in this week’s marketing strategy.
