I started a second Instagram account. I am still slightly shocked as I type that sentence.
Why is this shocking?
Because I have always been a proponent of putting all of my online marketing assets in my name – from my website to my Instagram account. Everything is branded “Jill Celeste.”
And then I go and open a second Instagram account under a different name.
Why would I do this?
I outline my rationale in this week’s marketing strategy, and I hope it inspires you to do the following:
- Give yourself permission to break the rules, even the ones you created
- Experiment with your marketing (without attachment)
- Take a stand for your flagship product
That’s what I have learned from this decision so far. As you grow as an entrepreneur, these lessons come in many shapes and forms. And sometimes, they come disguised as second Instagram accounts.
