What is your profession?
I’m a writer and editor who works with successful business women to catapult their growth by helping them find the best words to describe themselves and whom they’re serving.
Who are your ideal clients? Who do you heal or help?
I support successful self-made women, particularly lightworkers, who have a lot to say but may not feel comfortable expressing themselves in a clear, compelling, and concise way.
How do you help people?
As an excellent listener and reader, I’m able to notice what isn’t being said as well as what is to get to the heart of any communication. I help women be the best version of themselves in print, on their websites, marketing copy, and speeches. If my ideal client is writing (or has written) a book, I provide support through the process and careful edits to ensure the writer’s voice is clear, grammar and punctuation are stellar, and the book has a compelling arc.
My clients say I make them look good and feel more confident.
What is your typical day like?
Rise early and do my Miracle Morning activities, which include walking (or yoga), meditating, reading, and affirmations.
I write copy or edit in the morning (project work or my own blog posts, depending on the day).
In the afternoon, I network, follow-up, and complete other business tasks.
What makes your job so much fun?
My job brings me such joy because I know I’m sharing my gifts to help others feel more confident and show up in a bigger way.
I get to play with words all day, and work with incredible women who are making a positive impact on the world. What’s not to love?
What is your favorite quote?
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” — Marianne Williamson
