What is your profession?
I am a Health Coach with a focus on Functional Medicine

Who are your ideal clients? Who do you heal or help?
I am passionate about working with women and men who are seeking effective natural solutions to their health issues, particularly autoimmune in nature. Having suffered with chronic allergic reactions and asthma, and being told I would need to remain on medication to manage the symptoms, it has been liberating to be free of medication and feeling better than I have in years! I love bringing this type of relief to my clients!

How do you help people?
With most of our immune system housed in the gut, much of the work I do focuses on gut repair. It is amazing that when the digestive tract is healed, not only do digestive symptoms clear up, but often many other, seemingly unrelated symptoms clear up as well. These could be anything from IBS, to joint pain, allergic reaction, asthma, or other autoimmune responses. There is even a strong gut/brain connection, so clients often feel much better mentally and emotionally as well! The gut is not Las Vegas; what happens in the gut does not stay in the gut!

I also help people work through the barriers and limiting beliefs they may have about their ability to make significant changes in their lives. To help with this process I recently wrote a book entitled “By a Thread: 21 Tips on Resilience for the Partially Unraveled”. It is written in workbook fashion to help clients explore the areas that may be holding them back from making the progress they so deserve!

What is your typical day like?
I’m the type of person who likes to work on things in large chunks of time, so rather than having a typical day, I have days that are mainly dedicated to either clients, marketing, or continued studying. I am also still working a “job-job” in the evenings while growing my coaching practice, so the hours I dedicate to my coaching practice right now are between 9a-2p.

What makes your job so much fun?
Without a doubt what makes my job so much fun is the excitement and relief my clients experience! Someone once asked me what keeps me motivated, and my answer was “my clients”! It’s inspiring to work with people so dedicated to self-improvement, and it makes me want to work that much harder. It’s almost too much fun to call a job!

What is your favorite quote?:
