My 2020 Marketing Plan

My 2020 Marketing Plan by Jill CelesteHave you thought about your 2020 marketing plan? Now is the time! Even if you just plan for the first quarter, you’ll appreciate having a road map for your marketing journey.

In this week’s marketing strategy, I will share aspects of my 2020 marketing plan with you. It’s a work in progress, but I think what I’m planning will inspire you.

Before I get into specifics about my marketing plan, let me remind you why it’s important to have one:

  1. Marketing plans are your road maps. Just like you wouldn’t drive to Provo, Utah, without some type of navigation, you don’t want to market your business without a plan to help you reach your destination.
  2. All successful businesses have something in common: their marketing plan. Even the smallest of businesses need one.
  3. Marketing plans are great for helping you stay focused. Got Shiny Object Syndrome? You can steer your attention away from Shiny Objects by saying “this is not in my marketing plan.” (This works wonders!)

I’m excited to share with you what I have (so far) for my 2020 marketing plan. Ready to get inspired? Let’s do this.

What Are You Waiting For?

What Are You Waiting For? by Jill CelesteRecently, I was on a mastermind call with my Faith Keepers, and my friend Jen said: “What are you waiting for?”

Jen was referring to a conversation she was having with a client, and after she asked this question, it dawned on us how relevant this question is.

What ARE you waiting for?

Limitless clients, wealth, health, love – it’s out there for the taking.

What’s stopping us from taking it?

Let’s examine this question a little further in this week’s marketing strategy.

Book Review: Playing Big by Tara Mohr

Book review of Playing Big by Tara MohrIf I had to designate “required reading” for female entrepreneurs, Playing Big by Tara Mohr would be on the list.

Women entrepreneurs are the changemakers the world needs right now.

However, we have been conditioned to not make noise, to be polite, and to question our knowledge.

It’s our job, as female changemakers, to recognize these patterns and work through them. And it can be done if you follow the advice outlined in Playing Big.

Playing Big is the playbook on how to speak up and lead. And Mohr expertly navigates her readers through these waters by focusing on topics, such as:

  • Your Inner Critic
  • Your Inner Mentor
  • Fear
  • Criticism and Praise
  • Good-Student Habits
  • Hiding
  • Leaping

Mohr provides exercises (from guided meditations to journal prompts) to help you combat what’s holding you back. These exercises are thought-provoking – but not in a scary way.

If you are want to bust through your mindset blocks as a female entrepreneur, run (don’t walk!) out and get a copy of Playing Big today. This book will transform your life – and business.

My big takeaways:

Who Are Your Faith Keepers?

Who are your Faith Keepers? by Jill CelesteAre you surrounded by faith keepers?

Faith keepers are your innermost circle of friends (and maybe family) who help you stay in faith, remind you of your purpose, and keep your flame going on days when things feel bleak.

They are your biggest business supporters, cheerleaders, and brand advocates.

And every female entrepreneur needs them.

You see, when you are surrounded by loving, like-minded faith keepers, you will always have a band of supporters. You need people who have your back, understand what it’s like to be on this entrepreneurial journey, and know you’re a freak and love you anyway.

In this week’s marketing strategy, I will talk about finding your faith keepers. And if you already have faith keepers, use this blog post as a reminder to thank, cherish, and honor them. Let’s get started.
