Detach From The Outcome

Detaching from the outcome by Jill CelesteThe hardest mindset shift I’ve had to make as an entrepreneurs is this one: Detach from the outcome.

The control freak in me likes to control everything, including the outcomes of my marketing efforts.

But I don’t really have control, do I?

You see, trying to control something that I didn’t have control over was killing my mindset. I would create these goals – I need this many people to enroll – and then be crushed when I didn’t make the goal.

So crushed, in fact, that I thought seriously about quitting my business.

I don’t want you to go down this rabbit hole, which is why I wrote this week’s marketing strategy about how to detach from the outcome.

Truth bomb: If you can master this concept, it will change your business. Let’s get started.

Law of Attraction: The Science of Attracting More of What You Want and Less of What You Don’t by Michael LosierSummary: Law of Attraction by Michael Losier is my favorite Law of Attraction book. Losier does an excellent job breaking down the principles of Law of Attraction. As he explains, though, he appreciates that his reader may be skeptical. As a result, his explanations cater to the skeptics, incorporating different elements of proof that Law of Attraction works.

The book also has thought-provoking exercises to help you work through the Law of Attraction principles (you can write in the book, or you can download worksheets from Losier’s website).

My big takeaway: The Book of Proof! If you’re like me, you forget how abundant you are – and how the Universe is always delivering abundance to you. Losier teaches you how The Book of Proof helps you keep track of your abundance. It’s amazing and has changed my life (and improved my abundance tremendously). Continue reading

Law of Attraction Tricks To Help You Get More Clients by Jill CelesteIn this week’s marketing strategy, I am coming out of my “spiritual closet” and sharing with you three Law of Attraction tricks to help you get more clients.

Law of Attraction is a spiritual philosophy based on the principle that “like attracts like.” For example, if you want more abundance, you have to feel abundant already.

No matter what spiritual or religious beliefs you hold, these Law of Attraction tricks will help you – because they are not based on a deity or religious text. They are based on emotions.

I will use “The Universe” to describe the universal life energy – something you may refer to as God, Source, Goddess, or other terms. Please substitute the appropriate term as you read.

I hope you’ll implement each of these “tricks” and watch as more wonderful clients come your way!

Your Marketing Consciousness

I just finished the book, Happy Pocket Full of Money, by David Cameron Gikandi, and I was particularly moved by Gikandi’s thoughts on wealth consciousness. He writes, “Once you have wealth consciousness, it will be very difficult for you not to have success and wealth. Success and wealth will follow you automatically wherever you go.” (page 5).

In other words, when you believe in all levels of your mind that you are wealthy (despite what your checking account may show), then more wealth and success will come to you. You have to believe you’re wealthy before you can get wealthy.

Which got me thinking about marketing…

Many purpose-driven entrepreneurs and Lightworkers come to me, and say that they know nothing about marketing, or that they hate marketing, or that marketing never works for them. Perhaps you think these same thoughts?
