Using Your Marketing Platform For Social Good

Using Your Marketing Platform For Social Good by Jill CelesteNo matter the size, your marketing platform can not only be used to grow your business; it can also be used for social good.

I define “social good” as a charitable or civic cause that you align with, whose purpose is to make the world a better place.

On a larger scale this could include organizations such as the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and Doctors Without Borders, to more generalized causes such as women’s rights or homeless veterans.

As a purpose-driven entrepreneur, I bet you have one or more causes you are passionate about, but you may not have considered how you can help your favorite causes through your marketing platforms.

You may be timid about mixing your business with your causes. What will your ideal clients think? Will it hurt your business?

We’ll tackle all of your questions in this week’s marketing strategy. My intention is to encourage you to use your marketing platform for social good – all as a way to shine your Light even brighter in this world. Let’s begin!

The Facebook Live Challenge starts Dec. 1

Join The Celestial Circle in December for the Facebook Live ChallengeHi, everyone!

I’m super excited to announce that December’s monthly learning theme for The Celestial Circle is…The Facebook Live Challenge!

During The Facebook Live Challenge, you will commit to recording 21 Facebook Lives during the month of December.

Your Facebook Lives can be short (three minutes) – and you’re welcome to use another Livestream platform, such as Instagram Live, YouTube Live, or Periscope.

Did you feel immediate resistance when you read this?

  • Wondering how you could possibly do 21 Facebook Lives – what to talk about, when to have them, how to conduct them (no worries, keep reading!)
  • Knowing December is already busy enough with the holidays and time off, stressing a bit about how the heck you will squeeze in 21 Facebook Lives (again, no worries, keep reading)
  • Feeling like you’re not good on camera, and that Facebook Lives are so hard and vulnerable (I got you – please keep reading)
  • Worrying about your appearance – that extra weight, gray hairs, wrinkles – and fearing what people will think when they see you (We’ll tackle this too. I beg you to keep reading!)

Please don’t hide. It’s time to amp up your visibility – in one of the most authentic ways possible.

Facebook Live is a vulnerable, authentic channel for your marketing. It allows you to connect with your community, including your ideal clients, in a way that doesn’t feel icky.

Imagine how awesome you’ll feel after you complete 21 Facebook Lives during one of the busiest times of the year. If you can do this, you can do anything! What a great feeling with which to end 2018!

And, you have to market your business anyway during December; why not do it in a way that allows you to build relationships with your ideal clients?

If you’re ready to be louder, help more people, reach more ideal clients, and take imperfect action – all in the loving embrace with a mentor and community that will support you – then it’s time to join The Celestial Circle for The Facebook Live Challenge.

When The Fraud Factor Stops You From Marketing

When The Fraud Factor Stops You From Marketing by Jill CelesteWhat is “The Fraud Factor”? It’s a common mindset block for purpose-driven entrepreneurs and can wield its ugly head in many ways:

  • Feeling like you have less experience, education, or credentials than others in your industry
  • Wondering “who do you think you are” giving out advice when your own business/life/relationship is a hot mess
  • Second guessing why anyone would want to work with you when they can work with Mr. So and So.

Do these sound familiar? Chances are you’ve felt these fraud factor conditions during your entrepreneurial journey.

The Fraud Factor can be debilitating – not only for your mindset, but also for your marketing.

In this week’s marketing strategy, I will give you tips on how to bust through the Fraud Factor block and become more visible in your marketing.

When you recognize that “who do you think you are” message is really just your Ego, you can push past it, market more effectively, and start helping more people!

How To Tell If A Marketing Risk Is Worth It

How To Tell If A Marketing Risk Is Worth It by Jill CelesteAs you consider ways to market your business, some ideas may seem risky. How can you tell if the risk will pay off? Will you lose too much money, time or energy, or will you gain a lot?

It’s natural to feel nervous about doing something risky with your marketing. Things like a large Facebook Ad campaign (that can cost you money) or agreeing to be a keynote speaker (that can cost you time) are exciting, for sure, but as a solopreneur, you are concerned that you’ll recoup your investment.

I get it. We’re solopreneurs with limited resources.

I also get that sometimes we are naturally too cautious, and that something that feels risky often is just resistance.

This week’s marketing strategy will help you determine if a risk is worth it or not. It will also help you evaluate if a risk is really a risk or a mindset issue. I’ve included a quick Risk Assessment to help you sort through it all.

Please keep reading and watching if you need help making heads or tails of marketing risks. This marketing strategy will help you so much!

Following Up With Love

Following up with love by Jill CelesteFor many Lightworkers and purpose-driven entrepreneurs, following up with sales prospects is not a comfortable process. In fact, it can feel downright icky – and totally absent of love.

If this sounds like you, you will appreciate this week’s marketing strategy because I will teach you how to create a loving follow-up process. You’ll walk away with two things: (1) Logistical knowledge on how to create a follow-up process, and (2) how to infuse love in your follow-up process.

Before we delve into the logistics, let’s first grapple with the elephant in the room: Your mindset around following up.

Here’s what I want you to know: You are not hounding your sales prospects. It’s not even in your wiring. Your natural tendency will always to be genuine, so put your “I am hounding them” fears to the side. It’s not even possible with you, okay?

As you work through your mindset, check out the tips I’ve outlined below to help you add more love to your follow-up process.
