No One Is Buying

I’m opening my kimono -figuratively speaking – in this week’s marketing strategy because I know some of you need to hear this message. I am being transparent and honest about my recent lull in sales, and sharing with you what I am doing about it.

I hope you’ll read this message with love in your heart – and no judgement. I welcome your comments and notes of encouragement. I hope you’re inspired by what I say.

Please remember: You are never alone. I am never alone. We’re on this entrepreneurial journey together. Rough patches and all. ♥

Well, That Was A Sucky Marketing Idea

You implemented a marketing idea. Maybe it was something you’ve never tried before, maybe you’ve done it before, or maybe you tweaked an old idea into something new.

The idea of success coming before happiness is not the right formula. You can’t achieve success without first being happy in your life.

Be Happy, Then Be A Success

Over the past month or so, I have been working on my thoughts, emotions and attitude. If you have met me in person, you know I am quick to smile, pretty easy to get along with and good for a laugh. However, like most of us, I am not happy all of the time.

Truthfully, being an entrepreneur can be a lonely job, especially when you are working hard to get your message out to the world. And many times, loneliness and “efforting”  can make me an unhappy person. Here’s the thing, though. I didn’t realize it until I read a book called The Happiness Advantage by Shawn Achor.
