Jill’s Top 6 Marketing Articles from 2016

I wrote more than 50 articles for my blog in 2016, and I am so proud of each one. Some involve tactical advice, such as how to do something marketing-related, while others were “you’re not alone” pep talks intended to inspire you.

I looked over my web and social media stats, and made a list of the top 6 marketing articles I published in 2016. It’s a true myriad of ideas!

A personal recap of 2016

2016 had its ups and downs, didn’t it? I published my first book, That First Client, which became a Top 25 Amazon Bestselling Marketing Book. I co-authored another book, Gratitude and Grace, which was an international bestseller. I hosted four 21-Day Marketing Challenges, coached more than 50 students and clients, welcomed students into the Celestial Marketing Academy, created the Advanced Marketing Circle, and redesigned my Quick Start Programs.

In between the business successes, I was challenged by personal stuff – losing my Dad, and then my sister-in-law. Placing my mother into an assisted living facility. Taking care of my sweet basset hound through two cancer surgeries. Learning my mom has dementia. Letting my oldest son drop out of high school (believe it or not, the best decision ever). Moving into a new home. Feeling distraught about the U.S. Presidential Election results.

Oh yes, 2016 was a humdinger. Frankly, I will be glad to put this year in the books – and welcome 2017 and its possibilities.

I hope this recap blog post will help reconnect you with marketing ideas to grow your business in 2017. Please know: I am here for you. I am rooting for you. And I truly believe that 2017 is our year. Let’s go conquer it.
